Aksorn is David Thompson’s first new restaurant in Bangkok for over a decade, and sits on the top floor of Central: The Original Store. Aksorn evokes delectable nostalgia using volumes of recipes from David Thompson’s own collection of cookbooks published from the 1950s to the 1970s to present to its guests a regularly changing menu for today’s ever-changing tastes. Weaving together the background surrounding each selected book, its cook and the period it was created, Aksorn offers its guests an experience of Bangkok’s flavours from times past.
